Discount Realty started in 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the beginning, listings were few and hard to obtain. Calling on "For Sale by Owners" was the only way to solicit listings. Discount Realty, Inc. was one voice telling the public that there was a different way to sell Real Estate. There are at least 13,000 other real estate agents in town telling every seller that they had to pay 5, 6, or 7% commission in order to sell their home. After 13 years the word has spread that this is not necessarily true and because of this, Discount Realty, Inc's phone rings all day with questions and appointments. In our 12+ years of serving the Las Vegas Market we've saved clients over $10 Million Dollars in realtor commissions.

Russ' life before real estate consisted of years of planning and management of mass production of electronic equipment. Discount Realty, Inc. combines high volume and low prices to make a unique real estate experience.

He started selling homes in 1986. For the first 8 years he charged 6% like every other real estate agent. He didn't know there was any other way.

In 1994 he came across a real estate company in Sacramento that charged a flat fee to sellers. He liked the idea, copied it, and brought the idea to Las Vegas. Discount Realty was started. In the beginning, Russ did everything. Now there are 12 agents working for Discount Realty, Inc.
